Thung Salaeng Luang, commonly known as the "Savanna Grasslands of Thailand," is the third largest national park in the country. The park's name is derived from the Salang (Salen) tree found within its boundaries, which has been adapted to reflect the diversity of nature in the area, now proudly called Thung Salaeng Luang.
