The area of the Petrified Wood National Park showcases a diverse Dry Dipterocarp Forest, mostly well-preserved with densely distributed trees. Significant tree species found here include Teak, Yang, Ironwood, Rosewood, Redwood, Padauk, Lagerstroemia, Sadao, Elephant Grass, Makien, Wild Ginger, Giant Rattan, and various types of Grasses. Additionally, understorey plants consist of Tapioca, Wild Lettuce, and various ferns among others, with a small mix of mixed deciduous forest. Wildlife Resources Surveys in the Petrified Wood National Park have revealed a variety of wildlife, primarily small species. Common animals include Wild Chickens, Wild Rabbits, Civets, Squirrels, Flying Squirrels, Monitor Lizards, Geckos, and various birds and insects. However, rarer species encountered include Wolves and other Civets.
