The monument of Phra Ya Damrong Sujjarit Mahitsaraphakdi, commonly referred to by the locals as "Ko Su Jiang," is located in front of the Ranong Municipality. Ko Su Jiang was the second governor of Ranong and the pioneer of the tin mining industry in the area. This site holds great respect and reverence among the people of Ranong. Within the grounds, there is also a spacious plaza where tourists and visitors can relax after paying their respects to the Ko Su Jiang memorial.
