Spanning an expansive area of about 10 rai, the International Library of Khao Kho is designed in the shape of an inverted diamond, with a reflective glass exterior. It is surrounded by a garden featuring a variety of cold-weather flowers that bloom year-round. This library serves as a repository of books, guest books, and ancient artifacts from both Thailand and abroad. Officially opened on June 8, 1995, the library's interior is divided into three sections. The first section, the International Hall, includes a lounge area, display cabinets, and storage for ancient artifacts from both Thai and international origins, such as a 200-year-old scale and a Sukhothai-era basket. This area aims to preserve Thai arts and culture for educational purposes. It also houses the royal throne of King Rama VI, who visited the residents of Khao Kho in 1985. The People's Library provides educational information services for the general public, students, and researchers, along with a center for non-formal education services in Khao Kho district. To the left of the library stands a stupa that enshrines relics from Sri Lanka, along with a life-sized statue of Phra Khun Thob, a revered monk in Phetchabun, allowing visitors to pay their respects. Location: Khao Kho District, Phetchabun Province. From the Sadapong intersection, follow Highway No. 2196 for about 2 kilometers to the library entrance, then take a right turn for another 500 meters to reach the parking area. A short walk through the flower garden will lead you to the library.
