The gathering of farmers to confront the issues of plummeting cash crop prices and exploitation by middlemen led them to make the pivotal decision to shift their focus from crop cultivation to dairy farming. Today, this cooperative proudly stands as the second-largest milk producer in Thailand. It was officially registered as a cooperative on July 22, 1987, starting with 200 members. Now, it boasts over 1,300 members, more than 300 employees, and around 30,000 dairy cows, which collectively produce 150 tons of raw milk daily. Thanks to its excellent management system, this cooperative was designated as the National Outstanding Cooperative of the Year in 1997, underscoring its commitment to high-quality production standards. Visitors are welcome to observe the production process and purchase UHT dairy products at the health shop located at the front of the cooperative.
