Suanluang Rama 9

Suan Luang Rama IX, also known as Rama IX Park, is the largest public park and botanical garden in Bangkok, spanning approximately 500 rai. It is located in the Nong Bon sub-district of the Prawet district, in the eastern part of the city. The park was established to commemorate the 60th birthday of His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej, the beloved monarch, on December 5, 1987. The landscape design was led by Professor Emeritus Decha Buntham, while the iconic Ratchamongkhon Pavilion, a significant symbol of Suan Luang Rama IX, was designed by M.L. Thritos Yutthawong. Currently, M.L. Chanapan Kritakorn serves as the chairman of the park's administrative committee.
