A hidden gem in Chiang Rai, this place is filled with refreshing beauty from blooming flowers and surrounded by picturesque mountain views. It was established to honor Her Royal Highness Sirikit, the Queen Mother, on the occasion of her 80th birthday in 1988. Covering over 625 acres, this garden offers a wealth of enjoyment for visitors, from relaxing amid the charming scenery of the expansive 223-acre lotus pond, which maintains its clarity year-round, to exploring beautifully landscaped areas. You’ll also discover a delightful flower roundabout featuring a cold-weather flower garden, complete with a traditional Lanna-style resting pavilion. For those who enjoy leisurely strolls, a "Flower Road" stretches for several hundred meters, connecting the large and small lotus ponds. Don't miss the palm garden, bamboo grove, teak garden, and a garden of medicinal plants. During the summer, the tree known as "Yelow Cotton Tree" or "Suphanika," which is characteristic of this garden, blossoms with bright yellow flowers, adding a vibrant touch to the already stunning landscape. The garden is open daily from 8:30 AM to 6:00 PM, and the entry is free of charge.
