The "Southern Thai Association" was officially registered on October 6, 1932, making it the second legally registered association in Thailand, following the People's Party which was the first. The establishment of this association had the following objectives: 1. To promote and maintain unity while providing mutual support among the Southern Thai people. 2. To sponsor education for the Southern Thai community. 3. To assist with charitable efforts upon the death of a member. 4. To promote health through various sports activities.
