From the first wildlife research station of the Forestry Department in the past, it has evolved into the Khaobokku Wildlife Breeding Station. This facility not only serves as a sanctuary for various endangered wildlife species, confiscated animals, and those affected by illegal poaching, but also plays a vital role in their rehabilitation and release back into their natural habitats. Furthermore, it is an excellent learning resource for students and enthusiasts alike. Currently, the station is home to a variety of wildlife with 35 species totaling 585 individual animals, including approximately 140 birds, 439 mammals, and 6 reptiles. Before you visit, please note that group visits require prior arrangements, so it's advisable to contact the head of the Khaobokku Wildlife Breeding Station.
