Ayutthaya Railway Station is the main train station in Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya Province. The original wooden building dates back to the reign of King Rama V. In 1921, it was transformed into a reinforced concrete structure. It was during this time that the station's name was changed from "Krung Kao Station" to "Ayutthaya Station."
