The Ko Koet community is situated in the Ko Koet Subdistrict, Bang Pa-in District, Ayutthaya Province. This OTOP (One Tambon One Product) tourist village was established as a community learning center in 2005. The OTOP village of Ko Koet began its journey in 1994, initiated by Mrs. Lamphun Phanwai, who started with a group focused on herbal longevity products and savings groups for production. Various OTOP occupational groups such as miniature clay art, herbal compresses, shampoo production, and bio-liquid fertilizer have emerged since then. The village has been selected as a “Sufficiency Economy Village” where residents strive for a good quality of life. Most of the local community members are engaged in ornamental flower cultivation, rice farming, gardening, livestock raising, and traditional dessert making. The Ko Koet area is also linked to the Bang Sai Arts and Crafts Center, promoting the development of the arts through traditional Thai performances, Thai dance, Angklung performances, Khon dance shows, and agricultural wisdom.
