I stopped to pay my respects at the King Naresuan the Great Shrine, which was established in 2002 to honor His Majesty's benevolence when he proclaimed freedom in Kaeng Krachan, Myanmar. This location was significant as it marks the first point of his journey through the Mae Lamoe checkpoint in Mae Sot.
