Wat Bote Mani Si Bunruang was built in 1859 as a result of the merger of Wat Bote Mani Ratch and Wat Si Bunruang in 1954. Notable features within the temple include: - The wall paintings in the main chapel, which are depicted on wooden boards with eight images per side, two images on the plaster wall next to the principal Buddha statue, and one image behind it. All of these illustrations tell the story of the Buddha's life and have been registered by the Fine Arts Department. - The unique Mon-style stupa that stands alongside a traditional Thai-style chapel. Within this chapel resides the revered Luang Por Phutthamon, a stunning bronze Buddha statue from the Sukhothai period, renowned for its exquisite features. It is believed to have been created around the early 19th Buddhist century.
