Wat Teen Tha, also known as Wat Tin, Wat Khlang, or Wat Kosawasan, is located in the Tha Wasukri sub-district of Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya District in Ayutthaya Province. This ancient temple was established during the reign of King Ramathibodi I, also known as King U Thong. However, there is no definitive evidence regarding its founder. The temple lies to the north of the city island, along the left bank of the Lopburi River, and is near the Khu Mai Rong, which served as a dock for royal barges during the Ayutthaya period. Opposite the temple stands the Ta Som Pom and the mouth of the Tho Canal, which served as the ferry landing for crossing from the city island to the area in front of Wat Cheung Tha.
