Another name for this place is Wat Phra Baht Poo Pha Daeng, or as the locals refer to it, "Doi Poo Yak," named after the mountain where the temple is located. It can be found in Thung Thong Village, Moo 7, in the Jae Hom District of Lampang Province. Currently, Phra Kru Sangworn Silakun serves as the abbot of Wat Phra Buddhabaht Poo Pha Daeng. For those wishing to experience the atmosphere of the temple at the summit, you must park your vehicle at the designated parking area as private cars are not allowed to ascend. You will need to use local transportation provided by the villagers. Upon reaching the starting point, you will need to walk up a staircase consisting of over 300 steps, covering a distance of about 1 kilometer, which typically takes around 30 minutes.
