Another must-visit attraction in Pathew District is situated atop a hill, prominently featuring a large golden standing Buddha statue that can be seen from afar. The temple area also houses an ancient stupa, believed to have been constructed during the Ayutthaya period. The stupa has a square base measuring approximately 9 meters on each side. According to local lore, it is said that shortly after the stupa was completed, Ayutthaya fell to Burmese invaders.
