The Nine-Tiered Stupa - Located on the main road by Bueng Kaen Nakhon, in Mueang District, within Wat Nong Waeng, an important royal temple, it features the Maha That Kaen Nakhon Memorial, also known as the Nine-Tiered Stupa. The base of the stupa is a square measuring 50 meters on each side, and the pinnacle of the structure is designed in the traditional stupa style, inspired by Phra That Phanom. This remarkable monument was constructed to celebrate the 50th anniversary of His Majesty the King's reign and the 200th anniversary of Khon Kaen city. The height of the stupa reaches 80 meters, with four smaller stupas located at each corner. It is encompassed by a wall adorned with a seven-headed Naga, showcasing the artistic style of the Dvaravati period, blended with Indo-Chinese influences.
