Wat PakKlong Pran is a religious site affiliated with the Maha Nikaya sect, located in Moo 2, Pak Nam Pran sub-district, Pranburi District, Prachuap Khiri Khan Province. The current abbot is Phra Palad Lam Yong Thipakro, while the temple was originally founded by Phra Khru Hwang Uttamo, a former abbot. Phra Khru Hwang collaborated with Khun Ari Prachakorn (Yaa), the village headman of Pak Nam Pran at that time, to relocate the original temple from Wat Ban Khoi in the same sub-district. They moved the existing monastic structures to the new site, which is conveniently located along the road leading to Pak Nam Pranburi, around the year 1897. The new temple was subsequently named Wat PakKlong Pran.
