Wat Burapha Phiraram is home to the tallest Buddha statue in Thailand, known as Phra Buddha Rattana Mongkhon Maha Muni, or "Luang Por Yai" (the Great Buddha). This revered statue holds a significant place in the hearts of the local people. Additionally, the Great Buddha serves as a symbol of the province. Constructed in 1973, the statue is made of reinforced concrete and stands at an impressive height of 59 meters and 20 centimeters from the base to the top of the head, reaching a total height of 67 meters and 85 centimeters.
