Jang Cave Temple

Jang Cave Temple

Khao Yai Subdistrict, Cha-am District.

The abbot of Wat Tham Jang has created the first-ever Phra Phu Panya Phetkhiri Mahamuni Sri Suthon Nakharach statue in Phetchaburi, which is also the largest of its kind in Thailand, standing at approximately 31 meters tall. The statue has a body diameter of 2 meters, featuring a stunning blackish-green color reminiscent of a jewel beetle, with intricate, three-dimensional designs that showcase exquisite craftsmanship. Moreover, not many people are aware that there is a cave located behind the temple. Therefore, the temple wishes to restore Tham Jang and open it for tourists to visit and pay their respects.
