Originally named "Wat Klang," the temple was established in 1771 and received its ecclesiastical boundaries on March 12, 1965, measuring 25 meters in width and 40 meters in length. The official boundary was established on March 2, 1969. Within the temple grounds, there are numerous fascinating elements to explore, including: - A stupa modeled after the Shwedagon Pagoda of Myanmar, renowned for its beauty. Historical records indicate that this stupa was constructed in 1771, emulating its counterpart in Myanmar. It is a brick structure, painted white, standing 20 meters tall. The base features subtle corners, and the bell-shaped body is adorned with tiles and golden motifs, culminating in a finial. Surrounding it are 20 smaller gold-painted stupas, enclosed by a glass wall. - The main Buddha statue in the Mara Vichai posture, which is enshrined within the main hall. - An ancient drum over 200 years old, preserved inside the hall.
