Wat Klong Klang was established in 1903, originally located to the east. However, the local villagers found it difficult to travel to the temple due to the canal that was excavated by the Irrigation Department. As a result, the temple was relocated to its current site, which is on land donated by Mr. Sua and Mrs. Chai Phumong. The temple’s development was overseen by Phra Kroo Manosarawichai, affectionately known by the locals as "Luang Pu Khiao." He took charge of improving the temple's structures and facilities, ensuring their permanence and stability.
