Located in Pak Chom Sub-district, Pak Chom District, near the Pak Chom Highway District Office, this high peak stands along the Mekong River with an elevation of approximately 368 meters above sea level. From this vantage point, you can enjoy stunning panoramic views of the surrounding landscape, including glimpses of Vientiane, Laos. During the late rainy season through to early winter and into the late winter, this area offers breathtaking scenes of mist rising over the Mekong River, stretching as far as the eye can see. There are two ways to reach Phu Lamduan from the Pak Chom Highway District Office: you can either hike or take the local 'e-tak' motorbike taxi. If you choose to hike, it's about a 1.5-kilometer trek to the top. Alternatively, a ride on an e-tak takes approximately 10-15 minutes and costs 50 Baht for a round trip per person.
