There are some unique betta fish that you can admire while enjoying the surrounding scenery, all in a beautifully natural setting. Admission to this place is free. The Thai Betta Museum was initiated by Mr. Pheeraphong Tanompongpan, the former Deputy Minister of Transport and the chairman of the People Development Foundation. Even in retirement, he continues to innovate and create positive contributions to society. In 1999, a vacant piece of land in Bang Kachao, Phra Pradaeng district, was transformed into a Life Learning Center. The aim was to establish a museum that not only educates but also expands people’s perspectives. This project was a collaborative effort between Bang Kachao Company and the foundation, intending to serve as a hub for communal unity and strength through learning. Additionally, it offers opportunities for economic development within the community through fish farming for export.
