Soil Museum

The Department of Land Development, under the Ministry of Agriculture and Cooperatives, is located on Phahonyothin Road.

The Soil Museum, established by the Department of Land Development, aims to serve as a venue for learning about soil resources, soil classification, issues and management related to soil in Thailand, and promoting sustainable usage. Officially opened on May 23, 2006, the museum was inaugurated by Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn, who graciously presided over the opening ceremony and left her autograph on a clay plaque to commemorate the occasion. This plaque is currently displayed at the entrance of the museum for visitors to see.
