The Chankasem National Museum, also known as Chankasem Palace or the Front Palace, is situated alongside the Pa Sak River. Historical evidence suggests that it was built during the reign of King Mahathammaracha in around 1577 AD, intended as a residence for King Naresuan the Great. It has also served as a residence for several royal figures, including the Crown Prince and various monarchs throughout history.
