Bang Pa-In Royal Palace

Ban Len Subdistrict, Bang Pa-in District, Bang Pa-in, Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya 13160

The ancient palace, dating back to the Ayutthaya period, was constructed by King Prasat Thong and served as a royal residence. It is currently open to visitors. Within the palace grounds, there are many intriguing attractions such as the Hall of the Divine White Elephant, a replica of the Khmer-style Prang, the Throne Hall of Isvara, which features a grand hall situated in a pool of water, showcasing traditional Thai architectural design. The monument dedicated to Her Royal Highness Princess Sunanda Kumariratana and the Vidhunthasana Hall, located on a small island within the inner palace gardens, are also notable highlights.
