Pa Sala So, located within the Nam Phong National Park in Ban Phue Subdistrict, Nong Ruea District, Khon Kaen Province, stands along the route between Ubon Ratchathani District and Ban Fang District. It rises 214 meters above sea level and has been developed by the Department of Highways as a rest stop where visitors can enjoy the beauty of the Ubonrat Dam reservoir. This spot has become a popular destination, especially among young people during the winter months, when it buzzes with activity. Travelers come to pause, take photographs, and relish the refreshing breeze while admiring the scenic views of the Ubonrat Dam reservoir. From this vantage point, one can even see Pattaya Beach 2 located on the opposite side in Phu Wiang District.
