Within the Jim Thompson Museum, an array of Southeast Asian art objects is on display, particularly an extensive collection of Buddha statues from various eras. The traditional Thai building has received the Outstanding Heritage Conservation Award in 1996 from the Association of Siamese Architects under Royal Patronage.
