Tong Leng Noodles

Tong Leng Noodles

"Bangkok Tong Leng Noodle" is a legendary noodle shop in the Talat Phlu area that has been serving delicious food for over 60 years, passing down its flavors from generation to generation. The highlight is its homemade egg noodles, which are thin, chewy, and unique. The meticulousness in selecting ingredients and preparing the noodles is guaranteed. In addition to the noodles, the shop also makes its own red pork, crispy pork, and shrimp dumplings, all equally delicious. The restaurant's atmosphere is an old-school setting right by the railway, giving a nostalgic feeling. Some patrons even say that dining there is exciting as the train rushes by, creating a refreshing breeze. Besides the branch by the train tracks, there’s also a location in a row of shops along Therd Thai Road, near Soi Therd Thai 20/1. There are several ways to get to Bangkok Tong Leng at Talat Phlu. If traveling by train, you can take the Wongwian Yai-Maha Chai line and get off at Talat Phlu station, where the restaurant is located right next to the railway, across from the Ni-Ang dessert shop. If using the BTS, get off at Phothinimit station and take a motorcycle taxi to Talat Phlu, which costs about 20 baht. For those driving, parking is available at Wat Kantharararm (new Chinese temple) and then you can take a motorcycle taxi to Talat Phlu, or you might find a parking spot nearby. However, some recommend using a private car and finding parking around Talat Phlu for convenience. Overall, Bangkok Tong Leng is a must-visit for noodle lovers, with its unique flavors and the shop's historical charm making it an interesting destination in the Talat Phlu area.
