Phu Hin Da Waterfall is a unique waterfall that does not flow year-round. It is located about 400 meters from the National Park office. This single-tier waterfall, while not particularly large, boasts a wide rocky area and sprawling bodhi trees. The stones around the waterfall are sturdy and intact, creating a delightful natural setting. There is also a sufficient pool for visitors to enjoy swimming, although it can feel crowded during peak tourist seasons. The surrounding forest is lush and vibrant, serving as a protected watershed area overseen by the dedicated staff of Sam Lan National Park. This area is home to a diverse array of plant species and a variety of common wildlife. The beauty of the waterfall, along with its accessibility, makes it a popular destination; it is conveniently located not far from the park office. Some adjustments have been made to the pathways in the area, but these do not impact the landscape significantly. The area experiences minimal encroachment, though there are signs that this may be increasing. The site is managed by a government agency (the Bureau of Conservation Area Management 1, Saraburi) and, as of now, there are no plans to alter the natural state of the waterfall and its surroundings.
