The atmosphere was wonderful. I recommend taking a raft and bringing along some fish food; it adds a fun element to the experience. Feeding the fish from the back of the raft will attract them to swim alongside you. The Tham Num Lod cave is renowned for its beauty and is the most accessible and comfortable cave to visit among all the caves in Mae Hong Son.
