The Ratchaburi Provincial Office of Tourism and Sports is actively promoting the route "Tourism and Creative Tourism Linkages" under the concept of following in the footsteps of His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej and engaging in agricultural tourism. This initiative is a key part of the province's tourism strategy, particularly as agricultural tourism is emerging as a popular new trend. Not only does it allow visitors to closely experience local community ways of life, but it also offers them the chance to participate in various activities alongside locals, thus creating a fresh tourism experience that blends enjoyment and real-world learning. Currently, there are many interesting new agricultural tourism attractions emerging across the region. Several communities have begun opening their doors to tourists, allowing them to engage and learn from the wisdom of local experts. One such community is from Don Ka sub-district in Bang Phae District, Ratchaburi, where locals have come together to invite eco-conscious tourists to experience the simple yet charming lifestyle of the Don Ka community in an initiative charmingly named ‘Don Oi Don Ka.’ ‘Don Oi Don Ka’ is an informal gathering of local farmers and public-private partnerships involving the Community Enterprise of Agricultural Heart, the Bang Phae-Damnoen Saduak Gardeners’ Community Enterprise, the Export Mango Producers’ Community in Bang Phae, the Tal Tor Housewife Group, and Neo Farm. This collaboration aims to develop a community agricultural learning center and promote sustainable agricultural tourism.
