Heavenly Viewpoint is the site of the former lead mining office and processing facility, which was operational for export purposes. The mining concession has been inactive for over a decade now. Currently, the staff of Srinakarin Dam National Park have established a checkpoint and are taking care of the old mine office area. This checkpoint is situated at a high elevation, offering a beautiful view of the landscape below. During the winter months, a sea of fog can be seen across the second village area, while during the daytime, the picturesque Pha Lao Forest Village becomes visible. The scenic viewpoint can accommodate over 50 tents for camping, and with the chilly weather, visitors can enjoy the illuminating glow of the moon and stars at night.
