The viewpoint is located at the end of the road leading to the reservoir. The scenery is beautiful, but it's best to visit in the late afternoon when the sun is out of the way, as it can get very hot otherwise. The viewpoint faces the sun and has no shade. Visiting on a weekday is preferable; weekends can be crowded with a lot of cars and limited parking spaces. You can take photos and check in, but be sure to arrive early as the parking fills up quickly. If you're looking to relax in a spacious parking area, consider going to the other side.
