The Teddy Bear Museum officially opened its doors on October 5, 2013. It all began with Mr. Kim Hyun-chul, the executive of Teddy Island Co., Ltd., who had the opportunity to visit Thailand several times over a decade. During these visits, he fell in love with the country, captivated by the warm smiles and friendly hospitality he encountered. Thailand is blessed with beautiful tourist attractions, and the majority of Thai people enjoy capturing the memories of these experiences through photographs. Mr. Kim himself shares this passion for photography and often carries his camera wherever he goes. This simple love for photography sparked the idea of creating a destination where everyone could take pictures, leading to the establishment of the Teddy Bear Museum. The museum was designed and constructed by Korean designers and stands as the first and only museum of its kind in Southeast Asia. Covering an expansive area of over 2,500 square meters, it features a total of 14 different zones for visitors to explore.
