Mu Ko Chang National Park

Koh Chang Subdistrict, Koh Chang Subdistrict, King District, Koh Chang District

Koh Chang National Park in Trat Province is truly a paradise for nature lovers! It not only includes Koh Chang but also comprises more than 50 other small islands. The overall atmosphere is characterized by lush forests on high mountains, with many beautiful waterfalls to hike to and experience the refreshing surroundings. Meanwhile, the west coast is filled with fine white sandy beaches and crystal clear waters, perfect for relaxing, swimming, or snorkeling to admire the vibrant coral reefs, especially around Koh Wai or the Ko Rang Islands. Getting here is quite convenient. Starting from Bangkok, you can drive your own car or take a bus to Trat Province, and then catch a ferry to Koh Chang, with boats departing every hour. Once on the island, there are shared taxis (known as songtaews) available to take you around to various attractions. The best time to visit is between November and April when the weather is calm with clear skies, making it perfect for photo ops.
