One of the serene meditation spots that offers breathtaking views of sea fog and allows visitors to pay homage at the Buddha footprint is nestled in the stunning natural surroundings of the mountains. The King’s Nature Park, located in the Ton Yuan Subdistrict of Phanom District, Surat Thani Province, is home to a sky pagoda that houses the Phra Buddha Silavadi statue and enshrines sacred relics. This remarkable structure, made from laterite sourced from Kamphaeng Phet, stands nearly 300 meters above the ground atop a limestone summit. Each year, during the long New Year holiday, this site becomes vibrant with visitors who embark on a pilgrimage up the mountain to pray for blessings and auspiciousness for themselves and their families. To reach this majestic park, head from the entrance of Ratchaprapa Dam. When you arrive at the traffic light at the 61-kilometer mark, turn left and continue on for about 20 kilometers. You will find the King’s Nature Park on the right side of the road.
