It is said that when Chin Lee was granted an audience with King Rama V, the king praised him by saying, "Chin Lee excels in the art of stir-frying crispy noodles. May he continue to pass down this exceptional recipe through generations." In addition to this praise, the king bestowed upon Chin Lee the Garuda emblem, a silver coin, and a photograph, and he named Chin Lee's dish "Heavenly Crispy Noodles."
