One of the boxing venues that has long been a cornerstone of Thai society is the Rajadamnern Stadium, established in 1941 during the premiership of General P. Pibulsongkram. During that time, the government enacted a law for land expropriation, notifying landowners along Rajadamnern Road so that the government could construct various buildings according to the designated city plan. The project was initially assigned to the Italian company, Impresi Italiane All'esteria-Oriante, but construction was halted during World War II, only to resume and be completed in 1951. Rajadamnern Stadium is recognized as the first standard boxing arena in Thailand, noted for its prime location and beautiful architecture, considered one of the finest in the world. Today, the venue has expanded and enhanced its public utilities, continuously developing features such as air conditioning, providing a comfortable experience for boxing fans. It has gained international recognition and has become a point of pride for Thailand. For those interested in witnessing boxing matches, tickets are available every Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM, and on Sundays from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM, except on significant religious holidays. Ticket prices for Thai citizens are 200, 400, and 1,000 Baht, while foreign visitors can purchase tickets for 500, 800, and 1,500 Baht.
