Kantang Railway Station serves as the terminal station for the Thung Song–Kantang railway line, located on Front Camp Road, Kantang Subdistrict, Kantang District, Trang Province. It is 850.08 kilometers away from Bangkok Railway Station. As a third-class station, Kantang operates with a district signaling system, and its station code is KT. Situated on Front Camp Road in Kantang, Trang Province, Kantang Railway Station marks the southernmost point of the railway line along the Andaman Sea. The station was officially opened on April 1, 1913. In the past, it played a vital role in the transportation of goods to and from international destinations such as Singapore, Malaysia, and Indonesia. There was a railway line extending approximately 500 meters to Kantang Pier, an ancient harbor that dates back centuries. However, this section of the railway has since been encroached upon by locals and is no longer in use.
