Khao Saming Temple, Trat

Khau Saming Subdistrict, Khau Saming District

Wat Khao Sming, located in Trat Province, is home to Phra Borommawong (commonly known as Luang Por Tia), who values a humble lifestyle and often spends his retreat years quietly within the temple. The main chapel is designed in a simple style, housing a large, revered Buddha statue that exudes a sense of sacredness. Another interesting feature of this temple is the Tiger Tunnel, locally referred to as "Poo Suea Sming Mol." This has become a key site for villagers and devotees who come to pay their respects and make wishes. Inside the tunnel, which resembles a cave, there are both large and small tiger statues that catch the eye. Currently, the temple is in the process of constructing a meditation pavilion called "Suea Sming" to enhance the spiritual experience for visitors.
