This meditation center is surrounded by serene nature and features a tranquil atmosphere, making it an ideal place for spiritual practice. It was established by the revered Luang Por Cha Supattho, also known as Phra Bodhiñāṇa Thera. Luang Por Cha dedicated his life to creating a temple focused on meditation and mental training, aimed at the genuine cessation of suffering, in accordance with the teachings of the Enlightened One, the Buddha. He emphasized simplicity in lifestyle, encouraging a way of living close to nature, away from the distractions of modern life, including the absence of electricity. The monks' and novices' huts are spaced apart to ensure peace and quiet for serious meditation practice. Moreover, Luang Por placed great importance on various practices and routines in line with the principles of Dhamma Vinaya and the 227 precepts throughout his lifetime. His commitment to practical demonstrations served as a guiding example for his disciples, monks, novices, and laypeople alike.
