The place is serene and is the oldest temple in the city, featuring an ancient statue of Buddha in the Lan Chang style. Initially, when the community of Sing Tha was founded, this temple was established without a monastic order. Later, during excavations, a stone lion and a large Buddha statue were discovered in the area (the current site of Wat Sing Tha), leading to the official recognition of this temple as Wat Sing Tha. Today, the ancient Buddha statue in the posture of the Enlightenment, made of brick and plastered with gold leaf, has a width of 3 meters across the lap.
