Located in Moo 3, Nai Mueang Subdistrict, Phimai District, Nakhon Ratchasima, this temple was built around the year 1887. It features a single-story wooden structure raised on stilts and is positioned adjacent to the ancient pond known as Sa Phleng. This pond has long been recognized as a historical site, integral to the community of Phimai for generations. Due to its proximity to the pond, the temple is aptly named "Wat Sa Phleng," reflecting its deep-rooted connection to the area.
