Wat Phra Luang, or Wat Phra That Neung, is an ancient site of great significance to the establishment of the Phra Luang community as it exists today. The temple houses several important historical structures, including the Phra Luang stupa, the scripture hall, and the bell tower. The local residents have restored these historical sites, transforming them into revered places worthy of respect and worship. Additionally, the temple has served as a focal point for the community through the ages. A significant tradition at Wat Phra Luang That Neung is the annual ceremony of worshipping the Phra That Neung, which takes place every March. Tourists are welcome to visit and pay their respects during this time.
