Wat Phra That Doi Khao Kwai Kaew is a temple located in Chiang Rai Province, situated on a hill along the route to Dong Ma Da. At the summit, visitors are treated to stunning panoramic views of the surrounding city, which are equally breathtaking both during the day and at night. This ancient temple dates back to the time of the Buddha, more than 1,000 years ago, and is steeped in rich legend, including tales of the four-eared, five-eyed insect and the white glass buffalo at Doi Khao Saeng. Within the stupa, sacred relics have been enshrined, including a piece of the left pinky finger bone of the Buddha, along with the horn of the white glass buffalo.
