This is a forest monastery following the meditation teachings of Luang Pu Muan Phuritthatto, developed in accordance with the aspirations of Phra Bodhidharma Chao Thera (Luang Pu Suwatch Suwajo), a former abbot and meditation master revered for his contributions to creating a place for spiritual practice. As Luang Pu once expressed before he passed away, “This Wat Pa Khao Noi is intended to serve as a center for meditation practice. Please help preserve it. Even when I am gone, I take nothing with me. What I have built is for the common good and for the future generations who come after us.”
