Wat Ban Pong Tha Kham serves as the heart of the community. Originally known as Wat Muang Kham Si, it later changed its name to Wat Pong Tha Kham, and ultimately became Wat Pong Tha Kham in 2011. This transformation was initiated by Phra Kru Jailangka, with the unwavering support of the local villagers, who came together to provide materials for the construction of the temple.
