The Fireboat Festival and Red Cross Fair in Nakhon Phanom will take place from October 8 to 18, 2024. On October 17, there will be a grand contest featuring 12 giant fireboats, starting at 6:30 PM. While waiting for the event to begin, visitors can stroll around the fair to enjoy a wide variety of food. I tried some delicious dishes, including Pad Thai for 20 baht, longan juice for 40 baht, and fried hot dogs for 40 baht. Overall, the flavors were delightful. The fireboat I saw that day was exceptionally beautiful and even had fireworks. I found a great spot to sit along the Mekong River, where I had a clear view of the stunning fireboats on display.
